LOCAL HARDWOODS
We are the ONLY cabinet shop on the Big Island with our own saw mill and wood drying kiln. We harvest local trees from homeowners that need to be removed from their property and local tree trimmers, who are well equipped to remove the canopies. However, they may struggle with the removal and disposal of the large trunks. We are able to cut the tree trunks into premium boards for our use at a dramatically lower cost.
IMPORT/DOMESTIC
We carry a number of both domestic and imported wood species. We try to keep in stock a good mix of darker, lighter and tropical wood products so we have immediate availability of something for almost everyone's tastes. We use only American made plywoods and veneered products all with exclusive Elemental X cores with insecticide infused glue for maximum, lifetime bug and termite resistance. Our solid wood doors are from solid stock material we import. We have a full line of specialty doors available in hundreds of styles and finishes that we have produced for us by the largest specialty door manufacturer in the United States. This makes our options for you virtually endless and at the lowest cost available since we are the only shipping the doors and not the entire cabinet.
